About Paul
What inspired your decision to join the real estate industry and what excites you about your career?
I’ve always been interested in Sales type roles that allow you to foster ongoing relationships with clients. Buying, selling and moving home can be the most stressful experience of a persons life and I love the challenge of taking away as much of the stress as possible and delivering quality service at the same time.
What is a brief summary of your working history?
I have quite literally worked the biggest range of jobs of anyone I know. From working as a Roulette Dealer in a casino, to missionary work in Mexico, I eventually found enjoyment working as a Breakfast Radio Announcer in various locations up and down the East Coast of Australia. After my daughter Emily was born in 2009, I decided it was time to get a “real job” and got my Real Estate Licence. We moved to Qld in 2011 and I started my own Real Estate company, working out of home.
Where did you grow up and why do you now choose to live in Cairns?
By the time I got in to Real Estate in Canberra in 2009, my wife and I had had our 3rd child and decided if we were going to settle down, the temperature needed to be better than -5 degrees. We soon found our home in Trinity Beach and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
What are your hobbies and interests?
Cheering on the mighty Penrith Panthers and spending as much time with my wife and 3 children as possible (but not when the Panthers are playing….)
