– "BT" my 5 hour life story in 5 minutes….

I was born in small country town along the Might River Murray, known as Loxton, in the Riverland of South Australia. Growing up 40km south on a farm in the country gave me solid values and a solid work ethic to life. Soon as my parents had decided I needed to learn my own life experience I was kicked out of home… My parents drove me to the last town in South Australia north on the Stuart Hwy… A town called Marla, the middle of now where… but not far from there was town called Mintabie where I thought I could make millions on the opal fields… it's here my adventures began…

I pegged a claim 80kms east of Marla on a cattle station "Lambina" the opals fields – I started off in a caravan, parked up in the dusty yard. From this adventure come my first real estate purchase in Adelaide at Auction. I took along with me my support team, George my Irish building mate and my Dad. I opened the bidding at $100k the Auctioneer was away and so was my adrenaline… I can't tell you what was going faster, the Auctioneers ramble or my heart rate!! The whole process took no more than 5 mins but it felt an hour, the auction was slowing up at $145k and now with instructions to sell one thousand dollar bids… This Greek neighbour and I started to go head to head… it was getting more nerve racking by the second. I had bid at $150,000 – the Auctioneer called it once, he called it twice, the little Greek man thought he'd throw one last ditched effort of $500, hoping I’d exhausted my limit. The tables had turned and I actually felt like I was in control a little… Knowing I was approved to $170K (lol) I let the ramble continue… "I call it once, I'll call it twice"… said the auctioneer, the Greek man was looking at me out the corner of his eye… my heart was racing… I looked the Auctioneer in the eye and gave a nod just as he was raising the hammer…. $151,000 he called… and off he went again… Calling 3 times it was my first real estate transaction and far from the last.

I soon headed up to Alice Springs to start a 8 year career in Tourism, and acquiring 3 more properties in Adelaide and 2 in Alice Springs. An opportunity came available to join the dynamic team in Real estate, Professional Alice Springs. The First year I took out Rookie of the Year for Professionals NT/WA and then moved on to big and brighter horizons in Darwin.

Since moving to the Top End I haven't looked back, I slotted into the territory lifestyle and has been on fire ever since… I have had my own Brand for 4 years and now looking forward to taking on brand of Professionals. I love taking about investments, properties, buying, selling and I’m always up for a call.
