The Professionals Murray Bridge has been pleased to see work begin on the much anticipated redevelopment of Murray Bridge’s main street.
The city council has appointed planners to draw up detailed concept plans with the aim of transforming the Bridge and Sixth street precincts into: “an exciting, viable, activated and vibrant destination for locals and visitors.”
According to the Murray Valley Standard if councillors agree to allocate funding to the project in the council’s upcoming budget, practical work could begin early next year. This is exciting news for everyone in the area and for those in real estate as well. We are all looking forward to the improvements.
The Professionals hope that local companies get opportunity to quote and compete on all aspects of the redevelopments, as this keeps employment local and has a flow-on effect across the whole Murraylands economy.
