A highly successful Professionals team from Western Australia’s Australind are continuing their growth with the opening of a second office in the fast-selling port city of Bunbury.
Andrew Spokes and Darryl Helms joined Professionals from an independent brand at the start of the Covid pandemic under Professionals DAD (Design and Development) Realty in Australind, 150km south of Perth.
Today, on their third anniversary with Professionals, they are expanding with the opening a new second office, 12km away in the Bunbury city centre.
The new office is perfect timing with last month’s CoreLogic Regional Market Update revealing Bunbury was the fastest selling regional property market in Australia.
Professionals DAD Realty is a regular award-winning team. At Professionals 2022 International Conference and Awards, the office took both National Top Office awards for listings and sales in their Tier 2 category.
The expansion into Bunbury has always been the goal for Andrew and Darryl.
“We are very successful operators in the Australind area and always wanted to branch out into the heart of Bunbury, but needed the support of a big brand like Professionals to help us do it,” they said.
“Since joining Professionals, so many doors have opened to us, especially given the strength of the brand in Bunbury in the past.
“This really paved the way for someone to come in and continue that legacy. We are honoured that we get to do this with the opening of our second agency.
“With the Professionals engine fuelling this new office, we are expecting to double the size of our business in the near future.”
The office expansion includes a third owner, Bunbury businessman Paul Clarke, and a new sales and property management team, with a total staff of more than 20.
As a former farmer, Mr Clarke has strong ties to the Bunbury community and is ready to launch into his new role.
“There is so much goodwill in the town for the Professionals brand. Even though it has been absent for several years, I feel like it still lingers and is ripe to be re-launched back into Bunbury,” Mr Clarke said.
Professionals Chief Executive Officer Katherine Gonzalez-Cork expressed her gratitude for the office’s contribution to the network and her excitement for the expansion.
“The team have strong growth aspirations and are positioned for greater market share. At Professionals we are keen to support them in all their goals for Bunbury,’’ she said.
“Since joining, the Australind team have been very engaged in the network attending our principal meetings and collaborating with local offices in Busselton and Dunsborough,” she said. “There is power in being part of a unified group.
“We have many second and third generation offices across the country. This longevity of community real estate service builds a respect for our brand that still resonates with our customers in the area.
“I am excited to see the brand back in Bunbury with such an excellent team at the helm.”
