Long term sales team Jacinta Clifford and Coby Perry have become the new Joint Directors of the successful Professionals Maryborough in regional Victoria.
Professionals Maryborough, an almost ‘heirloom’ office has changed hands internally over the years, originally with long term Professional’s supporters Stephen Gowers and David Bucknall, then handing over the reins to Mark Dellavedova.
“It is a testament to the power of the brand and how much we all love it that the ownership has transferred to people internally.” Ms Clifford said. “I started with Professionals seven years ago and was so impressed with the performance of the team under Mark’s leadership that I couldn’t think of a better place to work.”
When the topic of succession planning was raised, Ms Clifford knew she wanted a partner. “I was excited for the challenge, but I knew I wanted to do this with Coby. We complement each other’s expertise and working style and we make a great team. Having both been mentored by Mark, he was confident we would do the brand and team proud.”
Ms Clifford has lived and raised her two kids in Maryborough and absolutely loves the small town feel with a big heart. She said, “I love it here, Maryborough is one of those towns where people smile and say good morning when walking down the street.”
Both she and business partner Mr Perry are heavily involved in their community, supporting local primary and high schools, their local soccer club as well as sponsoring the Maryborough Football & Netball Club where Mr Perry has been playing since he was 14.
“Being born and bred local means that like our brand, I am well known and trusted in the community. I still play footy at the local club which we now sponsor, and a lot of our business is referred and existing customers.” Mr Perry said.
“The market here is stable, like most regional centres we are continuing to see more residential development and a higher demand for rentals with almost zero vacancies.”
Professionals Maryborough are a high performing team of two salespeople, two property managers and an office manager. Their plans are to continue to grow the business, improve internal systems and processes and continue doing what they love.
