Professionals Real Estate 
On the 1st June, Professionals Real Estate not only celebrated the opening of a new office, but the continuation of a brand that has been in the Mudgeeraba community since 1983.
Dennis Musca, Principal of Professionals Burleigh, did not hesitate to take the opportunity to expand into Mudgeeraba as soon as it became available, keeping the legacy brand within the community.
Mr Musca said that the importance of maintaining the relationship between the brand and community was paramount:
“You cannot discount the impact a local brand has with a legacy of almost 40 years. I felt like it was my responsibility to continue flying the Professionals flag in Mudgeeraba.”
The opportunity also meant his team would expand into new markets where the brand already had a significant history:
“For us, we have been working successfully in Burleigh for a number of years, slowly growing into the Tallebudgera acreage community. This has made Mudgeeraba’s beautiful village-style community the natural next step for us.”
Mr Musca, a successful businessman who has worked in real estate his whole life, started out working in mortgage broking and construction before becoming a sales agent for Professionals board member John Newlands from Professionals Surfers Paradise.
He opened Professionals Burleigh in 2015 which has since grown to a team of 11.
“Burleigh is very community focussed, family-friendly, and has the best beach in Australia. We feel like the Professionals brand is very at home on the Gold Coast” Mr Musca said.
The property market on the Gold Coast has remained steady over the past 18 months with the number of Brisbane and interstate buyers peaking late last year.
“We were very lucky during COVID in that we stayed open for the majority of the pandemic. There was a period when lots of people from Brisbane and Interstate moved to the Gold Coast and wanted to test it out before buying. We are finding that they are a large portion of buyers now.”
Professionals Burleigh Heads and Mudgeeraba will be trading under the new umbrella of Professionals Collective. Mr Musca has plans for moving some staff to the new location before expanding the team with a new office manager and sales team as the business grows.
Professionals Real Estate have a firm foothold in the Gold Coast market with many high-performing offices covering Burleigh, Robina, Mermaid Beach, Surfers Paradise, Paradise Point, Southport, Coomera, and Tamborine Mountain.
