Dynamic property duo Nader Iskander and Andrew Ivezic have unveiled their plans to shake up the very competitive real estate market in Melbourne’s north-western suburbs.
The pair, who between them have more than 20 years of real estate experience, are making their first foray into agency ownership with the opening of Professionals Caroline Springs today.
Mr Ivezic, who grew up in western Melbourne, has lived in Caroline Springs for 12 years.
“When I first moved here there were eight agencies competing but since that time the market has really grown and now there are 12 agencies in the area,’’ he said.
“It is a very competitive market but we feel there a strong opportunity for an agency that stands out in terms of quality of service and sales performance.”
Mr Ivezic said the area attracted a wide range of buyers including first or second home buyers, aged 25 to 45 with growing families.
“It’s a good mix of tradespeople and professional but you can honestly say that most people who buy in the area are aspirational and are looking for a better quality of life,’’ he said.
Mr Ivezic and Mr Iskander were previously working for rival agencies before they met each other in Caroline Springs and decided to team up.
Both are experienced sales agents who have adjusted well to the realities of working in the property industry during the COVID-19 era.
“In recent times the demand for properties in Caroline Springs has been very strong,’’ he said.
“Where once previously you find around 130 properties for sale, for the past six months the number of properties on the market has declined to 70 to 90 properties.”
Mr Ivezic said they were looking forward to the challenge of operating their own agency and there were a number of reasons why they had decided to join the Professionals Real Estate network.
“The Professionals place great value on value on their people, they have good technology in place to support agencies and the management team are ‘straight down the line’ people,” he said.
“The Professionals also have existing offices in the nearby regions of Werribee and St Albans, so the brand already has strong recognition in the area.
“We are looking forward to working with the principals of the nearby agencies to further heighten the presence of the Professionals brand in the region.”
