Professionals network welcome husband-and-wife real estate team Cliff and Jackie Prentis on Brisbane’s bayside.
The two former independent real estate agents have been active in the Redland City and Brisbane area for more than 30 years each before joining the Professionals and establishing the new office in the heart of Cleveland.
The move is the start of a planned expansion of Professionals Cleveland that will see the agency growing the team.
“We’re looking to expand our current business in residential sales to include commercial sales and leasing,” said Jackie Prentis, the principal of Professionals Cleveland.
“The new location gives our clients more opportunity to sell their properties and, by leveraging off the extensive resources and support of the Professionals group, we see a lot of potential to grow our business.”
The strategy includes building on the agency’s existing residential rent roll and expanding into commercial property management.
“As the only Professionals office servicing Redland City, our plan is to have more mobile sales staff to service the region,” said Mrs Prentis.
Jackie and Cliff Prentis both have extensive experience and knowledge in expanding businesses in the property sector over the past 30 years from property maintenance and property development to real estate franchises.
“Jackie is the daughter of an architect and master builder, so she has had a head start on me,” said Mr Prentis.
“Property is our passion and we’ve been a part of the industry in the Redland City area since the 1980s. We’ve been through the highs and lows, so we’re familiar with the market, especially on the bayside where we know just about every street.”
Mr Prentis, who specialises in sales and marketing, said there were ‘plenty of positives’ in the current market.
“People in business who are doing well are always looking for opportunities. We think the future is rosy, especially with the confidence among younger buyers still holding up.”
Redland City has a diverse property mix catering to first-time home buyers and premium property buyers, with luxury waterfront homes in locations such as Raby Bay, as well as an expanding commercial and industrial base.
Although their careers have seen them relocate to the mainland, the Prentis’ still live on Coochiemudlo Island. Professionals Cleveland, of course, will also now service the property market on this popular tourist island.
Professionals Cleveland officially opened on June 29.
