It’s been a homecoming of sorts for seasoned real estate professional Gerry Manning, who has taken over Professionals Salisbury in a move that expands his reach in Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs.
Mr Manning, the principal of Professionals Northgate|Oakden at Greenacres, actually started his career in real estate with the team at Professionals Salisbury about 23 years ago.
“Since then, I’ve worked the plains of Adelaide, all the way north and back to the city, opened my own Professionals office at Greenacres and now I’m looking forward to servicing the Salisbury region again,” said Mr Manning.
“It’s great to get back into an area that I know and love being a part of.
“Not only have I had four homes in the area, I door-knocked so many houses during the first five years of my career that I know it like the back of my hand.”
Mr Manning plans to initially service the Salisbury area from his Greenacres base before looking to eventually open a second office.
“At the moment, our immediate priority is to recruit the right people to complement our existing team, so that we can meet the needs of both areas.
“We’re in the process now of bringing on new and established sales people to support our expected growth.”
Mr Manning said his expanded territory will offer his Professionals clients a direct link to the market stretching from the city to Salisbury and the broader north-eastern corridor, which is an active area for investors and first-home buyers.
“I’ve learned a lot about the markets all over Adelaide and we have a fairly broad range of clients, including a large number of professionals on our books, who are looking for solid investment opportunities.
“A lot of our clients are located in the inner-ring suburbs of Adelaide and they’re all looking for property in the north.”
