October is breast cancer awareness month, and Professionals is once again contributing to the cause.
In recognition of breast cancer awareness month, Professionals Real Estate is again “turning pink” this October, continuing its longstanding commitment to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is a community-funded organisation in Australia dedicated to researching the prevention, detection, quality of life and new and improved treatment of breast cancer. Over the past 20 years, Professionals has solidified its role as a key contributor to the cause, donating over $4.5 million to date – a number that continues to grow daily.
During October, fundraising initiatives will be hosted in all the Professionals offices, and the network will also put on national events like the Professionals International Conference, WA Golf Day and Pink Ribbon Breakfast. On the 21st of October, company members will join together on Sydney Harbour for the 20th anniversary cruise fundraiser with hopes to raise another $20,000 during the evening. In addition, the Professionals website will turn pink to visually raise awareness.
While announcing the company’s record donation this October, the network stressed that the company’s commitment extends beyond the October fundraising drive. On a local and national level, Professionals’ offices are involved in organising year-round charity events and auctions to support the NBCF. This year’s efforts included hosting the NBCF Gala Dinner and continuing their pledge to donate a portion of every property sale to the foundation.
