Professionals Returns to Kapunda
Proud Kapunda resident Donna Daniel is re-establishing the long relationship between the South Australian town and the Professionals real estate group.
Real estate stalwart Charles Goulder was the principal of Professionals Kapunda for 20 years from 2000 until 2020, when he retired.
Mrs Daniel, who has worked in real estate since she was 21, will now be re-opening Professionals Kapunda on 10 January 2022.
“Professionals Kapunda was here for a very long time under Charles Goulder, who was very well respected in the community throughout his career,’’ said Mrs Daniel. “I am hoping to continue his legacy and bring a superior level of real estate service back to the Kapunda community.”
Mrs Daniel grew up on Kangaroo Island in a farming family and then obtained a degree in aquaculture. She initially started her working life as an abalone farmer but switched to real estate sales under the guidance and mentorship of LJ Hooker Aldinga principal John McGarry.
“I then moved to Roxby Downs and did property management before we moved to Kapunda six years ago,’’ she said. “Since then, I have been working for other agents in the sales and property management area.”
Mrs Daniel said once she decided to start her own business, choosing the brand the agency under the Professionals Group Australia banner was a simple choice.
“Professionals have a strong reputation in the Kapunda region, and I really like that all Professionals offices are collaborative and have a strong family feel,’’ she said.
“As an added bonus, my real estate mentor John McGarry recently switched to the Professionals, rebranding his business as Professionals Aldinga Seaford.
“I am loving that John is in the Professionals network and that could not have played out any better for us.”
Mrs Daniel says she will use her new Main Street office to help everyone from Freeling to Saddleworth find their first home, dream home or home away from home.
“Kapunda has been my home for six years now,’’ she said. “Our first impression of this amazing community was the support we received from strangers during the Pinery Fires which started three weeks after our arrival.
“Like most people in Kapunda, we were scared, separated from the kids, managing evacuations and for us, not knowing the roads well or where they led to.
“The way everyone rallied around local residents and offered their support, for me and my family confirmed that we had arrived in a truly special little community.”
“I can’t speak highly enough of the town. Every day you walk down the street and there is always somebody to say hello to.”
