The Professionals Group has expanded its footprint in north-western Sydney after welcoming experienced real estate principal Stephen Trethowan to the agency network.

Mr Trethowan, who had previously operated under the LJ Hooker banner, began trading as Professionals Homepoint Realty in Riverstone on 1st December 2019.

The seasoned real estate professional has been operating in the Riverstone area since 1990, giving him a deep understanding of the ever-changing local market.

“We’re very much entrenched in the local community of Riverstone which is an area that has been growing rapidly for some time,” said Mr Trethowan.

“This has brought some big changes to the area, particularly over the past two decades and from our perspective, things are shaping up for even bigger growth ahead.

“As a team, we’re looking forward to a new start with the Professionals network to help us capitalise on the opportunities ahead.”

The Riverstone real estate market is currently being led by first-home buyers and investors taking advantage of the many new house-and-land subdivisions in the area.

The local market has also been buoyed by the release of the Riverstone Town Centre master plan by the Blacktown City Council. This is to cater for an expected influx of 9000 people to the area over the next 20 years.

Professionals Homepoint Realty has a staff of three, covering sales and property management within its office located at Shop 2, 48 Garfield Road, Riverstone.

“We run quite a tight efficient team and that’s part of the appeal of joining the Professionals,” said Mr Trethowan.

“The change to the new network has brought with it a lot of support from within the Professionals organisation, including staff development and training, which is integral to the future growth of our business.”
