Shane Kempton, Chief Operations Officers for Professionals Real Estate Group in Western Australia and the Northern Territory said he was delighted that the Group has just been awarded the 2017 Community Service Award by the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia.
Mr Kempton said that the annual REIWA Community Service Award was highly valued in the real estate industry in Western Australia.
He said that everyone at the Professionals Group was thrilled with having received this Award and recognition by REWIA for Professionals outstanding community work over many years.
In particular, we take great pride in the following REWIA citation for winning this important Award:
“Our Community Service Award goes to the team at Professionals State Service Centre, a not-for-profit organisation that prides itself on putting the needs of others before themselves. With around 45 offices in WA, Professionals takes its social responsibilities very seriously, caring for its members, clients and the wider community.”
Mr Kempton added that winning this Community Service Award goes to the very core of our shared value at Professionals being, “together we create meaningful impact”.
“In that regard, Professionals has been very proud to be associated with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) who helps fund critical research into this disease that has helped saved thousands of lives.
To date, Professionals have raised over $3 million to assist research programs supported by the NBCF.
“Breast Cancer is the most common life-threatening cancer facing Australian women, with eight women tragically dying from the disease each day.
“As a Diamond Partner of the NBCF, our group is keen for the NBCF to achieve its goal of achieving zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
“Our group has organised many Pink Ribbon fundraising events for the NBCF over the past decade and it is timely that Professionals has just one this REIWA Community Service Award with Pink Ribbon Month starting in October 2017.
“We hope winning the REIWA Community Service Award will help members of the community to also support our efforts in regard to helping the work of the NBCF by actively participating in Pink Ribbon Month during October,” he said.
