Professionals pink ribbon golf day draws a record crowd

Professionals Real Estate Group once again held their annual Pink Ribbon Golf Day on Friday 11 February at Joondalup Resort golf course attracting a record attendance of over 160 people to raise much needed funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
According to David Hobbs, CEO of Professionals, the group raised over $10,000 from registrations, raffles and a fundraising auction.
“This year the golf day was a sold out event drawing keen golfers and novice hackers from both our offices and our corporate partners including Datacom, Channel7, Printforce, SkyWest and the Sunday Times. The event is the second largest Breast Cancer Fundraiser on the Professionals events calendar, second only to our annual Pink Ribbon Breakfast held in October. Professionals Real Estate Group are proud of their strong support of NBCF, as Diamond Partners we have donated more than $2 million to the Foundation since the group adopted it as our charity of choice. These funds are desperately required to assist in the fight against breast cancer. Every day in Australia, more than 30 women discover they have breast cancer and it is the most common cancer diagnosed in women aged over 35 years. It is estimated that one in nine women will be diagnosed with the disease in their lifetime and more than 2,600 will die in a single year. Breast Cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in females after lung cancer” he said.
