Professionals Real Estate Group has continued its expansion in regional Western Australia with the opening of a new office in Karratha. The new office is trading as Professionals PHR Karratha and is located at Shop 9, Karratha Village Shopping Centre, telephone (08) 9144 1244.
According to David Hobbs, CEO of Professionals Real Estate Group, the opening of the new Karratha office follows the recent opening of the Professionals office in Kununurra.
“Professionals are pleased to announce that Professionals PHR Karratha will be the first office in our group covering Western Australia/Northern Territory to use the new CRM platform iDashboard which is cutting edge information technology in the Real Estate sector. In particular, this technology will prove very beneficial to our regional offices in the management of key information relating to sales and property management. Over the coming months we plan to roll out the iDashboard technology to all of our offices throughout the state. Whenever Professionals open a new office, we select a principal who has a strong track record in the local property market and in this regard we are delighted that Phil Hodnett will head up our new Karratha office. Phil has worked the real estate industry for nearly 30 years of which the last 17 years have been involved in selling real estate in Karratha. We are also pleased that Phil will be joined by wife Sarah and son Rick who together have developed a strong family reputation in the Karratha real estate market as well as the local community. The Hodnetts are a highly respected family in Karratha whose business has flourished in the area due to the high level of service they have provided and their strong focus on training and retaining staff,” he said.
Phil Hodnett, principal of Professionals Karratha said that after trading as an independent business in Karratha for a number of years, joining Professionals was a timely decision.
“As an independent business, we have worked very hard over a number of years to provide a high level of service to our clients in the Karratha area. However, after examining the support and services being provided by Professionals, we were keen to join and believe that our membership of the group will further enhance our level of customer service. In particular, the business systems developed by Professionals and their cutting edge technology will propel our office to an even higher level of service delivery. Having worked in the real estate industry for 30 years, I was familiar with the Professionals brand and now appreciate why so many of its offices are market leaders in their local area. Even during the short time I have been with Professionals, I have been surprised and impressed by the level of support and camaraderie from other members of this extensive real estate network which stretches right across the State,” he said.
David Hobbs added that opening a Professionals office in Karratha was a major coup for the group as the area is now at the centre of massive new investment in the resources sector.
“Our new Karratha office gives Professionals a gateway into the booming Pilbara where we see a major expansion of the real estate sector in areas such as Port Hedland and Dampier. While the Karratha real estate market has had a challenging 2010, the prospects for 2011 are much brighter and a growing number of investors are now targeting the area because of rental yields in excess of 10% per annum. I have every confidence that Professionals Karratha will become a major success in the Western Australian real estate industry over the coming years. The new Karratha office brings a record 66 offices the company now has operating in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. The Group now has 17 offices in regional areas and we intend to increase this number during the coming months by establishing offices in local real estate markets that have the potential for strong growth such as Karratha. In particular, we intend to further strengthen our presence in the North West of the State with a view to opening new offices in the area over the coming year” he said.
